Best hamburgers, like moms . I went to the lake by myself last Friday for I'm a little shy, and by myself, the ladies literally hunted me down and brought them to me 2 docks down . Sweetest kindest ladies that own/ run the Snackle Box. Thank you
Unique dining experience. At the edge of the marina is what seems to be an ancient stone building. Inside is a long bar with over a dozen seats and the grill. Not much room for anything else. The cook is a proud salty gal eager to Make your day with affectionate loving insults the likes of Don Wrinkles. The first-time visitor might be uncomfortable but the locals see thru the roughness for a kind hearted person openly eager to express her camouflaged affection to all that come. Packed every day during warmer months and pretty quiet in the winter.
Best hecken burger we’ve ever had!! And we’ve had some pretty amazing burgers. This one just dethroned them all. Their side portions are generous and perfectly crispy onion rings and bacon (upon request). The owner and young staff are super cool and friendly, easy to talk to at the counter seats, fun people with a lot of talent. The building itself has a charming design and feel to it, just across the lake docks and tucked away in the fall colors. Our one regret was splitting the burger thinking our stomachs would be too small this morning. Definitely going back for a full one each!
In town visiting and popped in on this tiny place. There were eleven of us and we got sat in fed within thirty minutes. Little different experience for a little local place came off as a filling of dicks restaurant. It was great.
we took our family vacation in KC this week, and ventured off to find places to eat that we’ve never had before, first on the list was the snacklebox for breakfast and let me tell you what, it did not disappoint! Paula was a hoot, and an even better cook. We will be coming back for taco Tuesday tonight, and potentially breakfast tomorrow before we head home! Thank you Paula for your hospitality! We need more people like you in this world!!
Had an amazing double cheeseburger! One patty definitely would have filled me up but I had to go for it. For an extra 2.50 to add another patty who can pass that up! Everything was made fresh right in front of me.
Paula is the star of the show so be graceful because she is old and has a sass that goes right into the food. Im a newish regular customer because the food, the lake and Paula. I love my Dotte and the customers always represent so graciously. Cheers
